Legal disputes are stressful, particularly in family-centered disputes that arise in probate and trust administration proceedings. Such disputes are often complicated by grief, confusion and other strong emotions. Our goal in representing fiduciaries and beneficiaries in estate and trust disputes is to remain sensitive to both the complex issues facing the parties and the emotional turmoil that arises when family members disagree, particularly when substantial estates are involved.
We assist clients in resolving claims for breach of fiduciary duty, beneficiary disputes, and will and trust contests, including claims of undue influence and incapacity. With over thirty years of civil litigation experience, we focus our efforts on facilitating communication among the parties to achieve resolution, both informally and through the mediation and arbitration process. We also stand ready to vigorously and diligently advocate for our clients at trial and, if necessary, on appeal.
